Knud served on the Patterson from December 31, 1938 to September 26, 1945
as Seaman 2/c and left her in San Diego as Chief Watertender.

Builder: Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Laid Down: July 23, 1935 Launched: May 6, 1937 Commissioned: September 22, 1937 Fate: Sold for scrap 1947

I don't have any photos, but I was wondering if there is anyone out there that knew my grandfather, Chester Leon Miller, from Humboldt, TN. I would appreciate anyone contacting me that knew him. Please contact me at alxsgranny@yahoo.com.

Thank you so much in advance for all your help and I look forward to hearing from any of you that knew him. I would also be interested in anyone that has pictures of the USS Patterson II, that would have been the ship that he was on I think.
