Below, the first is of me (as a boot Ensign) with the USS English (DD 696) honor guard in Rhodes, Greece 1957 (Photo #9). The second is me, 42 years later (Photo #7), on the same spot during a recent visit to the Huei Yang DDG 906 (sold to The Republic of China (ROC) Navy in August of 1970.) Both photos were taken on the mid-ships Quarterdeck starboard side. Note: the Huei Yang now has an overhang over the original outboard passageway. The last is a nice profile shot.
