Perhaps you can explain what it is. It is over your 400k limit but any smaller and I couldn't read the words very well. Although this document is from 1958, my father, Charles Warren Gunnels was aboard the ship 1946 and 1947 as the sonarman and took part in Operation Sandstone. I purchased this item recently on eBay to give to my father for Christmas this year. Thank you, Glenn Gunnels Photo 028 I'm not sure you still want any pictutes Mark but here is one I got from Dewitt when I visited him in March. Don VB Photo 032 SK1 Billy Ringwald (1960-61) Photo 034 Mark, I was stationed on the USS Rogers from January, 1975 to July, 1979, home ported in Portland Oregon. The Rogers was a reserve Tin Can docked at the Naval Reserve Station in Portland. There were at least 20 officers and about 275 enlised active duty on board. So from your last note of information about this ship up to 1974 , sometime in that year the ship must have been moved to Portland. We steamed from San Diego up into Puget Sound Washington , with many visit ship stops in between. The USS Rogers was Stricken 10/1/1980. To South Korea as JEONG JU 7/25/1981.
