We are seeking information on the USS Hatfield and her crews. Files and
photos may be emailed to us and we will
incorporate them into this page. When enough information has been assembled
we will then build the ship her own section.

My father (Cecil C. McCumber Sr.) was aboard at that time. Hatfield was one of 5 flush deck DD's to
have 5'/51 mounts. DD232 through DD235 were the others.
I (Cecil C. McCumber Jr.) served aboard USS Berkeley (DDG 15) in the early '70's. I have sign on your
website.
My son (Cecil C. McCumber III) is now an Ensign and USNA grad, class of '04.
