The US Government issued a 37 stamp honoring SgtMaj Daniel Joseph Daly in 2005.
I found the 1919 photo the artist used to engrave the stamp. Here's a montage
using a shot of the Daly leaving the Boston Shipyard in 1953 combined with her
namesake. I served on board the Daly 1955-1958.
